It's the Railroad Hub of the Northeast, with lines from New York & New Jersey to the South, New England
to the east, and Chicago & the interim  cities to the west. Over 75 trains daily originate, terminate,
or pass through Selkirk Yard.  Selkirk features a hump & classification yard that handles up to 2,700 cars a day,
a major locomotive facility, car shops, and an automobile off-loading facility. This program gives you numerous &
detailed views of the yard, plus many lineside action shots from the Boston Line,as far east as the State Line Tunnel,
the River Line as far south as Ravena, and the Chicago Line as far west as Rotterdam Junction.

When we filmed in the late 1990's,  Selkirk & vicinity was becoming even more interesting with lots of foreign
power showing up, and you'll see plenty in this program!  Informative, but minimal narration will give you the
facts & figures, and brief on-screen graphics will identify almost all trains and their locations.
