The Canadian Pacific operated pure sets of MLW’s on its main line
and several branch lines, along with its subsidiary, the Quebec Central.
Once finding the trains, railfans entered a land forgotten,
with big & small MLW’s hauling freight in much of Quebec & between Montreal
and the Maritimes, servicing the port of Saint John, New Brunswick
and providing rail access for the paper mills in Northern Maine.
