More than 100 trains at many different locaitons in the Wolverine State - this is the Best of Michigan. We'll see Candaian National trains on ex-Grand Trunk routes and Norfolk Southern on ex-Wabash routes. We'll cover Conrail and CSX lines too.

Locations include Wyandotte, Durand, Carleton, Romulus, Detroit, Lapeer, Delray Junction,,Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Port Huron, Wixom, Dearborn and the yards at Flat Rock and Oakwood.

Midwest Video Productions was most active in the mid-to-late 1990s when mergers were happening and flags were falling at a fast clip. This video was shot using professional equipment of the time, but is not up to the clarity of today's high-definition video. It is however an excellent snapshot of an important time in the nation's railroad history.
